But there is no better lecture on the dangers of going it alone when you are dis- tracted by fame and fortune than the one in the animated movie Cars (2006):

Strip “The King” Weathers: This ain’t a one- man deal, kid. You need to wise up and get a good crew chief and a good team. You ain’t gonna win unless you got good folks behind you.

Sure, it’s essentially the same lesson learned by Tom Cruise in Days of Thunder (1990) and Will Farrell in Talladega Nights: The Legend of Ricky Bobby (2006). But in this case, it’s a real racing legend giving the talking-to. Strip Weathers is voiced by NASCAR Hall of Famer Richard Petty.

Advisors Are Like A Human Security Blanket

Having a financial advisor does not make a little difference in whether a person feels financially secure-it makes a huge difference, according to a study by Northwestern Mutual, a financial services firm based in Milwaukee. According to Northwestern Mutual's 2017 Planning and Progress study, 68 percent of people with a financial advisor feel very financially secure, compared to 36 percent of those without an advisor.
